To honor all the moms out there, this month’s ShoBooVie episode focuses on the incredible balancing act that is being a mom, forced to navigate their own trauma and needs with that of their children. We’ll look at the criminally underseen TV show “Better Things,” Toni Morrison’s tragic classic “Beloved,” and the epic sci-fi actioner “Aliens.”
